Nocturnal Episode

"...Did we speak? If not verbally, mentally we did. We formed a single shape with our lying bodies not bound by romance or desire, but by presence. We turned ourselves into a living and breathing creature, a puzzle that was complete. As my eyes were closing, I felt that the other one controlled the pace at which we breathed that moment. We both participated in running this shared body like housemates. Eventually we synchronised, waking up and falling asleep at the same time. We were creators of this curio we didn’t want to name..."
