Talent
original artworks
Inspired by The Parable of the Talents, this work contemplates the fragile balance between faith, responsibility, and the fear of one’s own potential. At its centre is a figure cradling a vessel—a kli—overflowing with divine abundance. Above her, a red circle radiates as the celestial source of grace, while a messenger bird carries a red fruit, a symbol of gifts passed from the heavens to human hands.
The figure bends under the weight of what she has been given, unable to see the beauty of her own blessings. Her struggle reflects the universal hesitation to nurture our inner talents—to plant rather than bury them.
The fallen apple beside her quietly asks: will she nurture what she’s been given—or let it slip away?
